The Doctors
Meet The Doctors
Here at Old Mill Surgery we are small enough to maintain that personal and friendly manner created by seeing the same GPs on a regular basis.
Dr Paul Franklin Hutchinson - BM DRCOG FPCert MRCGP
Dr Hutchinson qualified in 1980 from Southampton University. He undertook his vocational training in Torbay and worked for 8 years in a local group practice before his appointment to Old Mill Surgery in January 1994. His medical interests include asthma, quality assurance, family centred medicine, bereavement and medical education. Paul is married with four children. He enjoys time spent with his family, cycling, canoeing and takes an interest in environmental issues.
Dr Katharina Jaeschke - State Exam Med, MD, FRCA, MRCGP, DFFP, DRCOG
Dr Jaeschke trained in Bochum Medical School and worked in Germany for a year before moving to the UK in 1995.
She initially trained as an Anaesthetist working in Barnstaple, Exeter, Leicester, Boston and Derby. After a year in New Zealand and having two sons she and her husband moved back to the South West and she went on to train in General Practice.
She enjoys running, cycling and walking to balance her love of good food.
